Our long-standing and well-established collaboration with researchers and developers from Z-set software have allowed Montupet to make a real technological leap and to continually increase our product competitiveness for complex cast aluminum parts for the automotive industry.

Montupet and the Z-set software group have a long history of successful R&D cooperation. This resulted in many advanced customized FE simulations for Montupet applications. For instance, one can select thermomechanical modeling of quenching of cast aluminum-alloy engine parts, followed by residual stresses analysis or prediction of thermomechanical fatigue and ageing of cast aluminum alloys.
