Zncpc#
This command opens the graphical interface for Zncpc, a module designed for estimating multiaxial elastic-plastic notch stresses and strains. Developed to offer cost-effective solutions during the design stage, Zncpc expands upon standard plastic correction methods like Neuber and Glinka, accommodating complex multiaxial non-proportional loading cases. Its concept is derived from standard homogeneization techniques (plastic inclusion in an elastic matrix). It integrates seamlessly with major finite element analysis (FEA) software such as Abaqus, Ansys, and Samcef. Zncpc supports all general elasto-viscoplastic (gen_evp) material models from Zmat and handles anisothermal loading conditions. Its automated plastic correction feature enhances the accuracy of elastic FEA results, providing valuable insights into localized inelastic stress and strain distributions.
