Create Nodes

Description

In Zebulon, the main mesh controlling parameter is the node spacing on every edge of the geometry which is part of a domain. Many packages allow generalize “element size” parameters to be defined, but as Zebulon’s emphasis in on non-linear calculations, precise control of the boundary node locations is of greater interest.

The Create Nodes popup dialog has the following parameters to set:

• Num: Number of element sides on the edge.

• Progression: Geometric progression of node spacings propagating from the end point closest to the click point from which the edge was selected.
