Run FEA simulation

As stated above (and as will be emphasized throughout the manual) the FEA commands are separate from the mesh file. The following outline represents the basic procedure for creating a FEA problem given an already created mesh.

1. Write an input file: define element formulation, solution steps and convergence parameters, boundary conditions, loading tables, output definitions, material integration control, local frames, MPCs, etc.

2. Write material file The material model can be written in a separate file, or in the same input file.

3. Execute Zrun Calculate a specific iteration in the analysis process. Non-linear calculations often take numerous trials to get good results.
