SINTERING_STRAIN#

Description#

The mechanisms of sintering may be represented by a sintering strain \(\bf \varepsilon_s\).

CODE

DESCRIPTION

non_linear

\(\dot f = -A (f-f_\infty)^n\)
coefficients: \(A\), \(n\), \(f_\infty\)
names : A, n, f_inf

The option anisotropic allows to enter a non-isotropic strain with the use of the three coefficients a1, a2 and a3. The strain is then defined as:

(480)#\[\dot\epsilon_{11} = a_1 \dot\epsilon_s\qquad \dot\epsilon_{22} = a_2 \dot\epsilon_s\qquad \dot\epsilon_{33} = a_3 \dot\epsilon_s\]

The following relation must be verified:

(481)#\[a_1 + a_2 + a_3 =3\]
