**curvature
#
Description#
This boundary condition imposes a displacement of the form
where \(\epsilon_{ijk}\) is the , \(\ten K\) is the curvature tensor, \(\ten E\) is the deformation tensor, and \(\vect X\) is the position vector.
Syntax#
**curvature
\(~\,~\,\) nset origin strain/curvature value1 [ … strain/curvature valueN ] table
- nset
is the node set on which the boundary condition is applied
- origin
is a vector that defines the origin relative to which the positions of the nodes are calculated.
- strain/curvature value1
The strain or curvature tensor components. In 2D, the valid components are:
E11
,E22
,E12
,K31
,K32
,SKEW
. In 3D, these additional components are available:E33
,E23
,E31
,K11
,K22
,K33
,K12
,K13
,K21
,K23
,SKEW1
,SKEW2
.- table
A character name for the loading table which describes the strain/curvature value in time.
