Description#

This command imports ABAQUS input data for pressures on element faces into Zebulon. This allows more robust pre-processors with ABAQUS export (e.g. Patran, Femap, etc), or existing user programs, to define variable pressures over a surface.

Syntax#

The command has the following syntax:

**import_abaqus_pressure \(~\,\) *bset bset-name \(~\,\) *import_file filename [ *use_dimension dim ]

*bset: Assign the name of the new bset on which pressures are to be applied.
*import_file: The name of the ascii file to import.
*use_dimension: Sets the dimension of boundary sets. Lisets (resp. fasets) are created in the case of 2D (resp. 3D). By default the mesh dimension is considered.
