Zglue#

Description

This command is used for gluing together parallel results files after a parallel job is run. The script can be used with MPI interface.

In most cases no switch needs to be applied as the script auto-detects what to do, or at least provides information how to proceed if that is not possible.

Syntax

% Zglue [ -mpi ] problem

The command line options are as follows:

CODE

DESCRIPTION

-mpi

run using MPI interface

Note

It is important not to alter the ***z_server section or the geof file between running the FEA problem and gluing the results.

Zman#

This command is used to open Z-set documentation manuals.

% Zman manual

To print all available manuals, run Zman -h. By default, the manuals are located in the $Z7PATH/HANDBOOK directory. One can override this location by setting the environment variable $Z7HANDBOOK.

Others#

In addition to the general commands outlined here, there are several other commands related to specific uses of the software. In particular, using the Z-mat interfaces or leveraging the development capabilities of Z-set will require additional commands. For example:

  • Zlink Script which handles linking of shared libraries and plugins. Normally run automatically based on the Zsetup output.

  • Zver Compare the current .test file against the .ref file for validation test cases.
