**linear_rotation#

Description#

This condition is a linearized version of the **rotation boundary condition (page ). For small deformation problems (not updated), this condition should be used.

This version uses the approximation that angles will be small, so sinθθ. Large rotations will of course result in an expansion of the boundary.

Syntax#

The syntax is the same as for **rotation. For 2D problems we have:

**linear_rotation [ node ]    nset_name ((origin) | num_node ) angletable ]

For 3D problems, the syntax is slightly changed:

**linear_rotation [ node ]    nset_name [ num_node ] (axe)  [ (origin) ] angletable]
