**process crack_initiation_direction

Description

It computes the crack initiation direction, at each node or integration point, as the eigenvector corresponding to the maximum eigenvalue of the stress tensor over the entire loading history. Only available in 3D.

Syntax

**process crack_initiation_direction \(~\,\) *var var_name

where var_name is a second-order tensor.

Output: a 3-component vector named crack_normal.
